| Time is expressed in DAYS. Each day is 18 hours
work, 6 hours for sleep and eating. Lightsabers must be built in
separate threads without any interaction from other characters.
Characters are to refrain from interaction with others during the
construction process. |

A single bladed weapon with a curved handle
specifically designed to aid a fighter in lightsaber on lightsaber
combat. |

A single bladed weapon with a straight, cylinder
shaped hilt. The weapon can take many distinct artistic forms,
but generally are in the cylinder shape. |
| Double Bladed |
4 |
3 |
A double sided weapon with a straight, cylinder
shaped hilt. The weapon is literally two lightsabers attached
by a permanent core. Two crystals required. |
| Interlocking |
3 |
3 |
A pair of single bladed weapons with interlocking
components at the base of the weapon. |
| Miniature |
3 |
1 |
A smaller form of the cylinder shaped weapon, this
weapon is highly compact and designed primarily for smaller Force
Sensitizes. |
| Single Double Bladed |
7 |
4 |
A double bladed lightsaber with the length of only a
single weapon, this weapon is as easily hidden as the cylinder shape
and as wieldable, but in its double bladed use it is a bit unwieldy.
Sith Lord Kun is the only known user of this type. Details to
follow. |
| Twin |
2 |
2 |
A pair of identical lightsabers that are used in
double wielding. One blade is typically shorter then the other
two, but not by much. |

4 |
1 |
Standard lightsaber damage - cuts through almost
anything. |
| Stun |
1 |
1 |
Standard for training lightsabers. This type
only stuns the area the weapon comes into contact with. It can
be stopped by solid materials such as metal and armor padding.
On flesh it could do some searing damage, but shall not cut through.
The area it touches will become incapacitated. Affect does
travel through simple clothes. |

Allows the user to switch between stun and standard
at the press of a button or switch. |

| Drop Safety |
2 |

The grip of the hilt has a safety switch inside that
is triggered if the weapon is dropped - deactivating it for safety. |
| Lock On |
4 |
.5 |
Allows the user to perform more complicated actions
with a lightsaber when they possess a safety (saber throws, etc). |
| Force Activation |
5 |
.5 |
The triggering mechanism is located within the hilt
and must be triggered through the Force. |
| Security Identifier |
5 |
.5 |
A cellular sensor is imbedded in the activation

Description |
| Belt Ring |
1 |
N/A |
Standard belt ring that can be mounted anywhere the
user desires, usually done on the bottom of the cylinder type.
Avoid precarious positions. |
| Activation Safety |
1 |
.5 |
Makes it a little difficult to activate a lightsaber
- so it doesn't occur on accident. Not very hard. Think
child proofing. |
| Water Proofing |
3 |
.5 |
Keeps the weapon safe when it is submerged and the
power is on. Does not function under water without "Water
Mode." |
| Trapped Grip |
6 |
2 |
Requires a Security Identifier. Does damage to
the unauthorized users who try to activate the weapon. The
damage can range from a small/large shock to something more overtly
painful, such as spring loaded sharp stales popping out and
destroying the grasping hand (Think the movie Blade). |
| Water Mode |
3 |
1 |
Allows the user to do combat with his/her lightsaber
under water. Requires water proofing. |
|
| |
| Single Double Bladed Weapons |
| These weapons require some explanation. They are
designed on the premise of the Double Bladed Lightsaber, but it is in fact
a single weapon. There is on crystal core, one power conduit, one
(perhaps two) activation switches, one (perhaps two) emitter matrixes, two
lense assemblies, one recharge socket. The crystal must be a
Precision Attuned Crystal type. If you're using special activation
button modifications, you do need to replicate them for each activation
switch you want the weapon to have (and be able to use that modification).
You can have the weapon activate one side or both. The weapon is a
little bigger then a single lightsaber hilt. It is unwieldy due to
its size when both blades are activated, thus why it requires a higher
level rank to master its use. In history only one major Force User
has been noted as having used this type of weapon - the Sith Lord Exar
Kun. |

| Level Eight |

| Level Nine |
20% Bonus |
|
| Example: A Level Six Force User wants to build a
lightsaber. The components desired would take 27 days to complete.
27 x .05 (5% Level Six Bonut) = 25.65 days.
A Level Nine User with the same weapon would take 21.6 days. |
| |
| "Emergency" Lightsabers |
| Emergency lightsabers are built when one can't take the
time to build a full lightsaber. It is not meant to last and can
have disastrous effects if it malfunctions. They can be constructed
in two days time and require an unfocused crystal. They can be dual
phase. They lack much of the other components. More
information on these weapons is in the development. Restrictions
will be created and they will have a use limit. |
| |
| "Heritage" Lightsabers |
| These are weapons that have been passed on through the
years. They remain functional to a degree, though their potency is
greatly reduced by the age of the weapon. These weapons are meant to
be ceremonial amongst families with a long line of Jedi within them and
are not often found, much because many Jedi chose to obey the wisdom of
not marrying. Corellians will often inherit these weapons, as their
Order did allowed marriages. Potential potency problems with these
weapons:
- Cracked crystals (less damage)
- Power cell degeneration (needs a recharge frequently)
- Faulty Wiring (causes an overload which deactivates the weapon)
- Damaged Components (Components originally on the weapon might not
function)
|
| |
| Malfunctioning Lightsabers |
| Lightsabers not properly constructed can be faulty in
use, obvious. There are a number of malfunctions that can occur.
The weapon could just not even activate (power distribution/circuitry
problem?), explode (destroys the hand and lower arm of the user holding it
(hence why you should activate it the first time from a distance!)),
components might not work (malfunctioning lense adjuster not allowing the
blade to extend), or [my favorite] it could just fall apart in your hands.
Typically a Level Four or above will not encounter these problems.
If an over eager lower level tries they will most likely end up with an
exploding lightsaber. Emergency lightsabers are more prone to these
faults and should be inspected daily for problems. |
